If youre from the west coast you might think im talking about some new Chinese panda over at the San Diego zoo. If your from the east coast or just in the know you know im talking about the best beer around.

Yuengling was introduced to me when i was back east for school and again when i was in Philly over the 4th of July weekend. wow, we’re talking good stuff. America’s oldest brewery. open since 1829. i don’t know how kevin costner didn’t shut them down during prohibition. maybe you should check out their website and find out.

while southern California has just about everything to offer, yuengling is not among them. at least that’s the impression i was under until i was referred by a person that knows a person that knows a person to Philly’s Best. (edit:  sadly, not since around 2006…)  wow, good food and yuengling by the bottle or by the case!!!!(ive experienced about a 2-3 wait on each case iv ordered). how do they get it? don’t ask don’t tell, but do enjoy. tell ‘um erik sent you.

when in Philly drink like um…a Phil. when in Orange County eat and drink Philly’s best at Philly’s Best.
