trick or treat

im not too into halloween so i decided to take it easy and get out of the house as to not fall suspect to the candy-kids. maybe that would have been the safer option. i went to the ‘bucks to grab a quatro and somone left a surprise on my car.

review this

so today i finished the Abolition on Man. not your average saturday afternoon read. where Screwtape Letters was a nice casual read, albeit powerful, The Abolition of Man was tough.

It reminded me of my Phil 101 & 105 classes in college. its starts on nice and easy with an argument about a childrens textbook. it quickly moves into a systematic disasembly of modern (then 1944) relativism and process of thought (amung many other things).

i have an extra wrinkle in my brow from thinking really hard about this one… but its a good wrinkle. c.s. lewis rocks, but this shouldnt be your first read.

one of these days my book reviews will be cliffs notes worthy. today is not that day.

lost two hours of my life last night
