ben folds at a starbucks near you

saw ben folds at the anaheim house of blues this weekend.  fantastic show!

ive been to the house of blues for more shows than i can count (and i be a good counter).  i couldnt help but notice a difference in the crowd; people were quiet, people stood still, people clapped after each song instead of shouting.

i took a walk over to the bar and, while ordering a dring, asked the bartender if this crowd was ordering similarly to what he was used to serving at other shows.  his reply,

what do these people think i am?  a f***ing starbucks!?  ive never served so much coffee and chardonnay in my life!

i was left with one distinct thought:  where can i find a starbucks that serves chardonnay?

i was at starbucks today and i couldnt help but notice all the akeelah and the bee promotional materials. the sleeves for the cups, random words on magnets throughout the store, flash cards with funny words on them. it all got me wondering, while i sat there in starbucks, how does one spell akeelah?

sell- can you use it in a sentance? -out

one lump or two?

i spilt about a venti worth of coffee on my carpet this morning.  i was already running late for work and i didnt have time to tend to the stain.  not wanting it to set, i did what any coffee drinker would do:  i added some cream and sugar.
